The LACC Men's Soccer team traveled to nationally ranked #10 Mt. Sac. The game was full of intensity and began with defending state champions Mt. Sac building up their attack against a fierce LACC defense who would not allow any easy opportunity for the Mountaineers. This would allow LACC to also create opportunities but both teams would keep each other at bay and keep the score 0-0 in the first half.
The second half was just as intense as the first, but LACC would have the clearer opportunities as they would miss 3 counterattacks that would have put the game away for the Cubs. The game would only intensify and LACC would create opportunities after every Mt. Sac attack. The game would stay 0-0 and both teams would hold the shut out. LACC now has an overall record of 11-5-2 and a 3-3-2 conference record. LACC will now host Long Beach on Tuesday to close regular conference play on Sophomore night at 7pm.
