LACC traveled to Cerritos College Friday afternoon. LACC had a rough start but found there footing after the opening 15 minutes. Coming off the first half, the Lady Cubs knew that there were chances to be had. Unfortunately, a few mistakes were made in the second half giving Cerritos the chance to counterattack and score a goal. The second half of the match was difficult for LACC, though they had a couple of chances to get a goal and tie the match. Looking to get a tying goal foced the Lady Cubs to send more players forward. This allowed Cerritos to score another goal resulting in a 2-0 loss. We look forward to hosting Compton on Tuesday at 4:30pm for our next conference match.
