LACC Women’s soccer team wins first game 8-0 against ELAC.
Finally after 12 years, The LACC Women's soccer team got their first win. LACC traveled over to ELAC to face off the Huskies. Eager to get the first goal in, Angela Perez, with an assist from, Jacky Hernandez, was able to get a goal within the first 10 minutes of the game. Before the first half ended, Stephanie Cardenas, got the Cubs another goal and assisted Angela Perez's second goal of the match.
Determined to secure the game, Jacky Hernandez, scored the 4th goal at the start of the second half. The second half was filled with high intensity and the ladies pushed themselves to get more goals. Vivika Marinero and Tessa Gaitan got LACC another 2 goals. As the end of the game was just minutes away, Isabell Estrada was able to get 2 unassisted goals in before the last whistle. The LACC Women's team cheered in joy with their first victory of 8-0, making it their first winning streak
